Banana Almond Smoothie

This treat can become a daily power breakfast. It’s a Banana Almond Flax Power Smoothie, very filling and so good for you!

Banana Almond Flax Power Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup Skim milk ( optional use = unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 frozen banana, chopped
  • 2 TBSP. almond butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon flax seed (ground OR roasted flax)
  • Optional: a handful of kale or spinach, frozen ( I use spinach)

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Mix on low for 30 seconds to chop up the banana and begin incorporating ingredients.   Blend on high to puree the smoothie. Blend until the flax seed are kale are broken down and the mixture is frothy. Serves ONE.
